February 13, 2006 In the spirit of the many band reunions that are happening this year, on February 19th, Steve will be playing a one night event that will bring together members of the See Band, who have not played together in nearly 30 years. The See Band was signed to Scepter Records in the mid 1970's, but shortly after the record was released, the disco era took over the world and the record was lost into platformed-shoed oblivion. The 30 or so songs the band recorded during that time had been lost, but recently, copies of more than 20 songs have resurfaced. The event is a celebration of a milestone birthday for Charlie Morgan, owner of Morgan Sound, and an original See Band member. Artists on the bill will include The Daily Flash and The Time Machine, among many others. Information about the See Band can be found at www.morgansound.com/party/suprise.html. Information about the event itself can be found at www.morgansound.com/party. The See Band will play a half hour set at about 8:30pm at the Premiere Club in Seattle.

A happy new year to all and best wishes for a safe, exciting, fullfilling, and peaceful year to come! Thanks to everyone who attended the New Year's Eve show at Jonas Jensen Studios in Fremont. It was a great way to bring in the new year. And a special thanks to Mark Cardenas and Wayo for doing such a spectacular job filling in for Geoff. There was a lot of music to learn and wrap their heads around, and the band really appreciated their hard work and great performances.

The show was captured with a four camera video shoot and we plan to post some clips to the site as soon as the footage can edited and the audio mixed. There are also plans to do another video shoot for a full length concert DVD in the near future. Details will be forthcoming. White wishes you all the best in 2006!

December 21, 2005 Come See Us In Concert! That's right, we'll be performing on New Year's Eve at the Jonas Jensen Studios, located in Fremont (Seattle). Our set starts at about 9:30. Our good friends, Mark Cardenas (Prince, Janet Jackson) and Wayo Hogan (MerKaBa) will be filling in for Geoff Downes, who is unable to join us for the night. More details are coming, so please check back soon.

Some ticket sites are showing White on a double bill with Syn in Seattle, on February 15. This is an error; White will not be performing at that show.
October 20, 2005 We are very close to finalizing arrangements to release the White album. Thank you for your many inquires about the album and tour dates. The band wants to be sure that everything is in place prior to any announcement. That said, stay tuned to the whitemusic.net channel for the latest information!

September 7, 2005 A big thank you to all who attended last night at the Musicaid Northwest's Hurricane Relief Concert. Many people generously donated time, food, auction items, and other services to this effort and each and everyone's donation was and is appreciated. The concert raised over $21,000. Much-needed money that will go toward the relief efforts currently underway in the Gulf region.

Let us not forget that help will continue to be needed for months to come. Please give generously to organizations such as Musicaid Northwest and the American Red Cross.

For those keeping score, our set consisted of New Day, Crazy Believer, and Mighty Love, from our album, we well as Changes, from Yes' 90125 album.

Here are a few images from the show. Enjoy!
September 6, 2005 White will be participating in a Hurricane Relief concert Tuesday, Sept 6th in Issaquah, WA. Concert details can be found at the Music aid Northwest site. Longtime friend Larry Greene will be filling in on keyboards, as Geoff is currently in England.

We urge you to help in this relief effort in any way you are able. No contribution is too big or small. This disaster is yet another reminder that anything could happen, to any one of us, at any time. It will take many, many months, if not years, for many of the victims to rebuild and regain some semblance of normalcy in their lives. Many had little before the storm, and are now left with nothing. We ask you to join us in helping now, and continuing to help in the months to come.
August 15, 2005 White fans, we're pleased to report that the album is now done being mixed and mastered and sounds amazing! We're all very excited to share this project with you, and hope that you like listening to it as much as we loved making it!

Obviously, with the tour set back we needed to adjust our release timeline accordingly but still plan on having the album out very soon. We'll keep you all updated as we lock in a new release date, and we'll be streaming selected tracks from the album between now and the in store date. Additionally, we're looking at tour plans for the later part of the year too, we can't wait to get out there and actually perform these songs live!

Stay tuned, and we'll keep you updated as we progresss, and thank you all very much for your continued support!
August 2, 2005 The band would like to thank everyone for all the kind and supportive emails and messages that you have been sending. Although we are not able to answer everyone personally, know that we are seeing, reading, and appreciating them very much. The wheels of progress are already in motion, and we'll pass on new information as we receive it.

Again, Thank You!

Billboard.com has written an article about the cancelled More Drama Tour.
August 1, 2005 It is with great regret and serious disappointment, that we announce that the More Drama Tour has been postponed. Everyone in White wants you to know that we have worked extremely hard over the last five months to make all of this happen. The White album is finished, and mastered, and we have been very much anticipating the first concert and beyond. The band is completely rehearsed, ready, and excited to go. Unfortunately, as hard as we have worked, and as prepared as we are, all of the pieces to this tour have not come together as originally planned. This is a major disappointment to us on many levels.

The band is extremely aware of the anticipation and excitement surrounding this tour from you, the fans. We are also aware that many of you have made special arrangements; be it travel plans, vacation time, arrangements for pre and post show events, and more. This means more to us than you know.

We want you to know we're already working on plans to bring our music to you as soon as possible. And you can believe that when announced next time, it will be the real deal. Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm. We look forward to seeing all of you as soon as possible.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HOWE-SQUIRE-WHITE "MORE DRAMA TOUR" CANCELED

Tour featuring three Yes solo/side projects and special encore set canceled because of immigration problems

LOS ANGELES, August 1, 2005-Yes guitarist Steve Howe, bassist Chris Squire and drummer Alan White have canceled their scheduled "More Drama Tour," which was scheduled to begin August 2 in Seattle, presented by VH1 Classic.

The cancellation was prompted by immigration issues in the wake of heightened security brought on by the recent terrorist attacks in London. The tour will be rescheduled at a later date. All those who purchased advance tickets should contact their local box office or ticketmaster for refund information.

"We're frustrated as much as the fans are but we understand the importance of the heightened security and hope we can reschedule the tour at some point," said Chris Squire, bassist for Yes and The Syn. The tour was to have spotlighted performances by three different bands, including the pre-Yes prog-rock group THE SYN, featuring Squire and original vocalist Stephen Nardelli; renowned Yes drummer Alan White's eagerly-anticipated solo project WHITE with keyboardist Geoff Downes, and STEVE HOWE's solo guitar set. The three principals then planned to perform their own set of Drama-era Yes songs.

Even though the "More Drama Tour" has been called off, Yes fans will still have a pair of summer releases to look forward to, including the 35th Anniversary: Songs From Tsongas DVD on Image Entertainment, which hits retail on August 9. Shot at Tsongas Arena in Boston during Yes' highly acclaimed 35th Anniversary Tour, it showcases the band in high definition and a state-of-the-art 5.1 Surround Sound audio track, featuring the reunited classic line-up of Jon Anderson, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman and Alan White. The Word Is Live, a box set of Yes live concert performances, will be released by Rhino Records on August 23. For more information, see yesworld.com.

July 21, 2005 Alan will be on Rockline Wednesday, July 27, along with Geoff Downes, Chris Squire, and Stephen Nardelli. A list of stations can be found at rocklineradio.com. Also, we have finished mixing the CD, and it's been shipped off for mastering. We hope to have it back in time for the first show in Seattle.
July 20, 2005 We've been so head's down finishing the album and preparing for the tour that we've been a little slow in getting current news out to you. That said, everyone in the band is aware of the excitement that is building around the upcoming tour, and we are definitely looking forward to getting out there and playing live. We've just finished mixing the new album and still plan to have CD's available starting with the first show in Seattle, Aug 2nd.

The band has been receiving inquiries about playing the southern U.S., Europe, Mexico, South America, Australia, and more. At this time, we have no information on what the near future may bring, but we would certainly love to bring the tour everywhere we can. Let's all keep our fingers crossed! Your enthusiasm and support are what it takes to make these things happen, and we very much appreciate all of your energy and efforts to help bring the More Drama Tour to your locale.

June 30, 2005 Greetings to all and welcome to our new website! Finally we're live! We are all very happy and look forward to keeping you up to date with everything, White. Check back often, as we plan to update regularly.

This is a busy time for the band. We're currently in the studio, finishing overdubs, while simultaneously preparing for our upcoming tour. Mixing has begun and the new record is scheduled to be released July 18, 2005. Rehearsals for the "More Drama Tour" will begin in the latter part of July. Plus, the band is very much looking forward to getting on the road and playing for and meeting as many of you as possible.

As some of you may already know, the band had a previously-recorded album that has been abandoned due to differences of opinion with an ex-band member. Any versions or copies of that record are not sanctioned by White, and we ask that you ignore and avoid it. We have not given permission for its release in any form. Besides, we like the new record much better!

June 16, 2005 US tour plans have been announced. Visit the tour page at YesWorld for our current schedule.
